Condition: For Historical Documents: In purchasing a document, you thereby agree to the terms and conditions and it is thereby understood that the documents are copies. Documents are sold on a "as is" basis. Archival documents that are available for purchase are rated based on length (number of pages) and quality. Quality refers to the document quality as a copy. The documents that are available for purchase are copies of the original or 1st, 2nd, and 3nd generation copies of originals. Most of the documents are 2nd generation photo copies or photo copies that stem from microfilm. Purchases are final and non-refundable. The documents date from WWII and the post-WWII era.
By purchasing documents from
Stenger Historica, Inc., you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Stenger Historica
for any loss, liability, claim, damage, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys'
fees) arising from or in connection with the contents of Stenger Historica's
material, or any violation of the rights of a third party. For Art Work: Purchase
of art work is guaranteed 100% satisfaction. Returns must be arranged in advance
via email: stengerhistoric@netscape.net. Returns must be made after a 3-day

General: Archival documents that are available for purchase are rated
based on length (number of pages) and quality. Quality refers to the document
quality as a copy. THE DOCUMENTS THAT ARE AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE ARE COPIES
OF THE ORIGINAL OR 1ST, 2ND, AND 3ND GENERATION COPIES. Most of the documents
are 2nd generation photo copies (photo copies of the original), or photo copies
that stem from microfilm. Any missing pages that constitute gaps will be annotated.
Lesser quality documents will be annotated and discounted. Purchases are
final and non-refundable. The documents date from the Second World War and
the post-era. The original documents are now, for most part, 55 + years old.
The quality depends on how often the originals have been handled. As for microfilm,
the amount of research that has been conducted while utilizing the microfilm
has seriously damaged the film with regards to clarity and legibility.
Coding: Each document is identified by document generation, type, title,
author, rank, number of pages, quality code, and price. Document generation
and type codes are as follows: 1stG indicates that the document is the first
generation copy made from the original; 2ndG indicates that the document is
a 2nd generation copy; 3rdG indicates that the document is a 3rd generation
copy. The type of copy is indicated under the following abbreviations: PC,
photo copy; MF, micro-film, MFI, micro-fiche. Document Quality Quality codes
are as follows: VG, very good quality but may have some tone variations or
slight blurring; G, still good quality with either whole pages that are blurred
and strong tone variations; F, fair quality that has severe tone variations
and barely legible text; P, poor quality with most of text unlegable, missing
pages, words, or text; HW, hand written text that could be difficult to read.
When documents are either P or HW, special note will be given as to the feasibility
of purchase.
NOTE: MOST AFTER ACTION REPORTS WERE TYPED IN 1946 ( OVER 50 YEARS AGO). MICROFILM
QUALITY IS POOREST.
